Come on, what did you expect? It rules!
When we all found out that Oblivion was coming out with a proper expansion, who here doubted that it would be anything less than fantastic? Bethesda has always delivered with everything it has produced in the Elder Scrolls category and they continue to evolve by making their storylines increasingly engaging.

If you’ve played through Oblivion you know that it can consume vast amounts of hours and pretty much your entire social life. Myself alone, the game robbed me of almost 200 hours of my life. Even when the game ended I was left wanting more. Although more downloadable content was created, none really took more than an afternoon to complete.
When Shivering Isles was announced, we heard how it includes over 30 extra hours of content, as well as whole new realm to explore. To say the least, we at GWN were quite excited at the prospect of a proper expansion pack.

During your alter life in Oblivion, you might have come across a side mission that has you doing errands for the Daedric prince Sheogorath (otherwise known as the “Mad God”). In Shivering Isles you are taken to a world that Sheogorath controls, which includes some of the most interesting and original missions in all of Oblivion. Each character you meet and every mission you go on is incredibly odd and borders on absurd. Some characters speak only in riddles, or like a child, or in numbers. All of them are strange.

Figuring out just how to start the new content took a little snooping around. After some time passes you catch wind of a rumor that states an odd door has opened up just outside Bravil on a small island. On this tiny island is a strange looking door carved out of stone. Some of the locals have passed through this door, but so far nobody has come out resembling anything of their former self. It seems that everyone who has passed through those doors returns mad. Seeing how entering this world is a sure fire way to turn crazy, there's nothing left to do except go check it out for yourself.
