Tomb Raider: Legend

All in all Tomb Raider Legend for DS leaves a positive impression for all that it tries to accomplish. The development team successfully vary gameplay and puzzles enough to keep the game interesting and utilize the unique qualities of the DS in a way that supports the overall title. What the title lacks in polish it makes up for in spirit, making it an impressive third party entry into the DS library. If you haven't played Legend's other versions, or you are looking for a solid action/adventure on your DS, then you might just want to make a date with Lady Croft.

Highs
Varied gameplay; good use of DS' abilities; console-like presentation; challenging and lengthy.

Lows
Inconsistent graphical presentation; glitchy in spots; compressed audio and cutscenes; at times frustrating controls.

Final Verdict
The good outweighs the bad, and the developers get extra points for making the DS version unique without giving up the overall adventure and story.
