Now that we understand the controls, what do we think of them? I personally had to get used to using my gun to move my camera view, but it didn't take me long. It was an experience in itself to learn it. I mean, how often will you get to have a completely new gaming experience that makes you do more than practice for about 10 seconds? If you can't stay around to learn how to play this game, you shouldn't have bought the Wii!
The AI is pretty smart, and hard!
Here are the controls and analysis for each of them:
Lift the Nun chuck to reload or press à D-pad: This is one of the easiest controls to learn in the game. I do prefer using the nun chuck because you finger is usually on the A button and you really have to change your focus to use the D-pad.
Jump and crouch with the two buttons on the nun chuck: Since you use the Wii Remote to fire bullets, and you're used to using two triggers, these buttons will fit right into your experience. Albeit, you don't have to use them excessively, but they can save you from near death and help provide cover.

Fire with B button: If you didn't know this already, the B button is the trigger on the back of the Wii remote. Nothing negative about this one, it's as simple as any other trigger, if not better!
Aiming with Wii remote: Some people might be discouraged or amazed by the sensitivity and skill needed to play this game. The aiming actually requires you to, quite literally, aim at a most of the time, small enemy, and since your reticule is the size of a skittle, it will take a learning period to learn the ropes of moving the remote to aim and move your camera. The acquisition of the next skill makes this job a bit easier, though.
