New “action-adventure” title coming to Europe this year.

Namco Bandai Games today announced an all-new Dragon Ball title, Dragon Ball: Origins, for the Nintendo DS. The “action-adventure” game is currently scheduled to launch across Europe in December.

“The single player game follows Goku and his clever sidekick Bulma as they travel the world overcoming enemies and obstacles to collect the 7 Dragon Balls,” reads today's press release.

“In the shoes of Goku, the player must protect Bulma from incoming enemy attacks using special skills, such as fighting with his power pole, or unleashing a kamehameha.”

Origins promises to “takes players back to the original Dragon Ball series” as it presents an experience with “vibrant 3D visuals” and “the lively, fun humour of Dragon Ball.”
