Connecticut State Senator Blasts Nonexistent Rape Scene in GTA IV

If a politician tries to grab headlines by banning a game scene that does not exist, does she make a sound?

Not that we needed further proof that politicians have absolutely no clue about video games, but here's some anyway. Conn State Senator Gayle Slossberg told the New Haven Advocate she wants to do something about the "rape scene" in Grand Theft Auto IV. Does she have some wicked Hot Coffee game modding skills or what? Nobody else seems to have found the scene she's talking about.

Slossberg wants stronger game warning labels but isn't clear on how they would be worded.

"I mean what would it say? This game will make you a sociopath?" she quipped to the Advocate.

Well Gayle, since the alleged rape scene doesn't exist, what will your upcoming campaign literature say - voting for this candidate will make you an ill-informed political grandstander?
