Complete with a new drum peripheral for your collection.

Konami yesterday announced Rock Revolution, which it claims “will re-define the rhythm genre,” for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Nintendo DS and the Wii.

"Rock Revolution will be the most innovative and realistic rock game to hit the market, that will provide a quality drum peripheral and music that players will appreciate," said Anthony Crouts, VP of Marketing at Konami.

"As the originator of music-based games, we are dedicated to bringing fans a truly pre-eminent music experience. With Rock Revolution, we put the emphasis on the drum kit, delivering an experience unlike any other."
The PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game will feature support for Konami's yet-to-be-revealed drum peripheral, as well as downloadable content via the PlayStation network and Xbox Live, respectively.

The Wii and DS versions, on the other hand, will make use of the Wii Remote/Nunchuk and touch screen in order to simulate the “air-drum and air-guitar experience.” All four versions are scheduled to launch this fall.
