Silicon Knights expresses an interest in bringing the series back.

Denis Dyack, head of Silicon Knights, recently spoke with TotalVideoGames at Microsoft's Spring Showcase even in San Fransisco. The topic of discussion? A possible sequel to the GameCube horror title, Eternal Darkness.

"There is a chance; we love all the games we work on. We don't want to be pigeon-holed [into a genre], we want to be known for strong content...There's a strong chance we'll return to it, but there's no announcements yet," Dyack told TVG.
Silicon Knights, now a second-party developer for Microsoft, is currently hard at work on Too Human for the Xbox 360. It is scheduled to launch in August. Will development of an Eternal Darkness sequel follow? We'll just have to wait and see.
