Battalion Wars 2 is the long-awaited sequel to the original Battalion Wars on the Gamecube. It is being developed by Kuju Entertainment and is set to include online multiplayer. 

The game was first announced at the 2006 Leipzig Games Convention, and has since been issued a North American launch date of September 24, though dates for other regions have yet to be confirmed.
