What similarities do the PS3 and James Bond share? They are both tall, they are both dark and…well actually the PS3 isn’t exactly very handsome (to my mind), but they do have Blue Ray in common.  The first 500,000 European PS3 owners (that will be all of the initial shipment then) to register their consoles on the Playstation Network will be rewarded with a Blue Ray copy of Casino Royal .  

The high octane, gun totting, sports car driving, ass kicking action flick is certainly a nice fit for the new high definition format, as it is for the most likely group of early PS3 adopters (young males).  

Darren Carter, Vice President of Brand and Consumer Marketing for Sony has called Casino Royale a "phenomenal incentive" for gamers to sign up to the PS3's online service.  Perhaps phenomenal incentive is a bit over the top but the freebie will no doubt make for a much better incentive than the poorly revieved Talladega Nights.
